Food Pantry > How To Help

No matter your age, physical ability, religious affiliation, or income, there are ways to help our food pantry.

Donate Time

Whether it is stocking shelves, unloading trucks, taking inventory, picking up food orders, setting up on shopping days, greeting our guests, helping to put everything away, or all of the above, many hands make light work. See upcoming volunteer opportunities.

Donate Money

Sending money to the the food pantry will help support our mission. Click the Button Below to Donate or send a check made payable to Rose's Bounty and Mail to Stratford Street United Church. We are a 501(c)(3) organization.

Donate Bags

Shoppers at Rose's Bounty are always looking for bags to help them carry their groceries home.  Paper bags are great for the food pantry, and recyclable/reusable bag are also appreciated for our School and Senior Programs .

Get the Word Out

Low on cash or time? No worries! Tell your friends, neighbors, or local businesses about the great work we are doing at the food pantry in West Roxbury. By getting the word out, you are making a difference.

Donate Food

It might be stating the obvious, but food pantries need food. While we get a large percentage of our food from the Greater Boston Food Bank, there is always need for more. Consider organizing a food drive at your children’s school, with your Scout troop, at your church, or your place of business. See our Rose’s Bounty donation box at Roche Bros. if you buy a few extra items when you do your own weekly shopping.

You can donate non-perishable goods during our operating hours see volunteer opportunities for up to date times, or at the church during our office hours, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10AM-2PM (ring the doorbell to the left of the door). We also have donation bins at the following locations:
  • The Cooperative Bank, 36 Spring Street, West Roxbury
  • Sophia Snow Place, 1205 Centre Street, West Roxbury
  • Stratford Street United Church, 77 Stratford Street, West Roxbury
  • Front porch of 61 Stratford Street, West Roxbury

Connect Us With Corporations
