The Stratford Street United Church was built in 1907. Now over 100 years old, there is always something to be done. In recent years, the Board of Stewards has made a concerted effort with the help and support of the congregation to focus on major renovations on and within the physical building. A sampling of some of those bigger projects can be found below. If you'd like to contribute skills, money, or connections to helping our cause, please let us know; we're always looking for help.

Sanctuary DoorAfter 100+ years of hard New England weather, our sanctuary door was in need of some love (and stain!). We have it both.
Church OrganIn 2014, Stratford Street United Church engaged renowned Potter Rathbun Organ Company to completely overhaul our 100+ year old organ.
Memorial Hall EntranceThe entrance to Memorial Hall is one of the first things that people see entering the church, and the paint and lighting was old and dingy. It's amazing what paint and new light fixtures can do!
Church SignsIn a world where everything speaks, if your main signage is not showing what you stand for, then you are doing yourself a disservice. Our signs were rebuilt, repainted, and used frequently.
Memorial Hall StairsThe stairs leading into Memorial Hall were broken, falling apart, and in disrepair. Not anymore. New blue stone treads now don our Memorial Hall entrance thanks to the donation of a generous parishioner.
